Bernadette Yu is an Ontario Registered Acupuncturist & Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner who has completed a rigorous 5 year hands-on advanced training program in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and who has been practicing acupuncture for a number of years. In addition to Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Bernadette is also a trained Biomeridian Technician and a Holistic Nutritionist. As well as working in her own practice, Bernadette teaches Chinese Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture to students at the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Bernadette approaches each patient as an individual with specific concerns and needs, developing a treatment plan which is specific to each of her patients. As an Ontario Registered Acupuncturist & Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Bernadette’s medical education includes extensive training in Chinese medical theory and diagnosis, acupuncture, herbal medicine, western medical theory and diagnosis, as well as tuina massage and qi gong. Bernadette is devoted to integrating the use of Chinese medicine with the more mainstream western care most people receive. She is proud to be a part of the established professional traditional Chinese medical community within Mississauga.
